The Sheesha Residency was a nice place in Srinagar, tucked away near Nishad, it was close to lake yet on a secluded place. The owner and workers were very prompt and fabulous. Will recommend to anyone looking for a quiet place.

The rooms were nice and spacious. Hotel have two buildings. Rooms at backside building is better and spacious. Breakfast options are less . Since I am vegetarian I could not comment about non-veg, however the food is OK. For local sight seeing in srinagar you may hire an auto that will be economical. For Gulmarg,Pahalgam & Sonmarg you can get cab booked which will cost yoy 1800 to 1900 per day and 6 people could easily be accommodated in it. We were hunting for a budget hotel with appropriate facilities for a comfortable stay. Surrounded by lush green beauty it seemed the perfect hotel to lodge and fortunately the rooms and hotel services were so terrific that we checked out with extreme satisfaction. The food, the rooms, hospitality were all perfectly fine.

Hotel sheesha residency proved an ideal place for our big clan of 15 people to stay. We hail from rajasthan and the lush green beauty n cosy cold winters of kashmir was a big treat to us. The big lawn of this hotel provided us a big space for refreshing walks and kids to play n feel free. As hotels promise to make customers feel home away from home this hotel did to us. As there rooms were clean, there staff was quiet disciplined and did there jobs well on time. We got our meals on time, and everything else we required was always just a request away. Fabulous hospitality done to us.. Happy customers we are :)

The rooms are big, tidy and spacious with all basic amenities. The staff was very courteous and warm. The food they served was good and apt in quantity. For budget travelers, it would be a great option as it is value for money. I would definitely recommend it to everyone :) :)
